HQP Spotlight

If furthering our understanding of aquatic invasive species (AIS) is CAISN's primary purpose, then training the next generation of AIS researchers is an extremely close second. To achieve this goal, CAISN's Highly Qualified Personnel, or HQP, are working with our Principal Investigators in labs and field settings across Canada. CAISN's vitally important sampling teams are led by its HQP graduate students with assistance provided by a team of undergraduate students. What's more, their involvement has traditionally been among the highlights at CAISN's Annual General Meetings.

CAISN alumni are among the most sought after AIS experts, both in the private and public sector. The following biographies highlight just a few of the CAISN HPQ success stories.
